Fischer Technology MP0 and MP0R Series Coating Thickness Instruments are  U.S. made and designed with industrial painting contractors, inspectors, and facility owners in mind.  They provide quick and easy non-destructive measurement of total thickness of coatings (standard 0-80 mils / 0-2000 microns convertible) applied to ferrous and/or non-ferrous metal substrates. The instrument automatically identifies the substrate material and features an integrated hard metal tip long lasting probe with V groove to measure on curved surfaces. The MP0 and MP0R also have a patented conductivity compensation for measurements over non-ferrous metal substrates. This series has two backlit LCD displays with large values for easy viewing from all angles. Measurements can be taken by scanning the substrate without lifting the probe. In addition, previous readings may be viewed on the display by scrolling back. There is a factory reset option including normalization and adjustment function. The MP0R is ideally suited for IMO and SSPC-PA2 requirements with green, red tolerance indicators. It has statistical functions and 10k memory (10,000 readings), which can be downloaded via USB.  Units come with carrying case, certified foils ($40.00 value), certificate of calibration, lanyard and normalization plates and Fischer Data Center Softwared (MP0R). Gages conform to ASTM D7091, SSPC-PA2, IMO PSPC, ISO and other standards.
