High quality optics are the key to this 9" tall, rugged, portable field microscope, which is available in 25X magnification or 45X magnification. Versatility is also a feature of this field microscope. The lenses contain a reticule for making measurements, and the clear plastic stand can be removed, creating an 8X ocular for distance viewing. An optional light clip with a penlight is available when ambient light is insufficient. Capture the image through the Macroscope lens using the optional Macromate 1A 52 MM adapter ring, which accomodates a 35 MM camera lens. It is possible to capture digital images through the Macroscope lens, however there is no adapter/lens mounting ring available for this purpose.
