The pencil-style pull-off gage is used for nondestructive measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings applied to ferrous substrates. The magnet attaches to the coated surface and spring tension is applied until the magnet detaches. The ring indicator holds the thickness measurement until another one is acquired. Gage comes complete with a leather pouch. Accuracy is +/- 15% of the measurement.
